About

Kodasema OÜ is an Estonian architecture, design and engineering firm that creates innovative living and housing solutions. Simplicity and freedom – are the values that a KODA house offers creating more energy and time in many ways.

Kodasema’s home country Estonia is the 4th largest exporter of factory-made timber houses in the world, widely recognized for the quality of the houses as well as the contemporary technology employed in production. This means plenty of top expertise is available locally when it comes to factory house production on any scale, and Kodasema teams up with a number of Estonia-based partners to make sure KODA modular houses stay at the top of the market.

  • Minimalist luxury living in a spaciously sustainable house
  • KODA is a house that has all the necessities for living, addresses the global contrast between the growing population and the growth of the average Western living unit.
Tackling premium affordability by fitting into the cracks of the system in unused urban spaces, meanwhile use unlocks the best sites.
  • Multifunctionality for creating contemporary dynamic spaces is something all KODA models embody – KODA houses can be easily transformed many times over, responding to needs: from hotel to office, from café to hair salon, showroom or a student home.
  • KODA aims for minimum viable space for almost any function, making KODA owners able to instantly switch between different functions, purposes and a multitude of locations.
  • Sustainability is a founding principle of KODA since its creation. By living smaller and consuming fewer things, the footprint one leaves on the environment is already tinier. In addition, factory constructed houses such as KODA also leave a smaller footprint in terms of transport pollution, worker safety, reduced construction waste and urban noise

Roofit Solar Energy

Innovative 2-in-1 solution, which combines the roofing material and photovoltaic modules.

About

Roofit.solar produces building-integrated solar panels that serve a double purpose – they act as a roofing material and generate electricity at the same time. The team behind Roofit.solar has experience in solar energy research and considers quality to be very important, which is why we use the best materials to make our solar panels effective, durable and aesthetic.

  • Roofit.solar modules are building integrated photovoltaic (BIPV) construction elements that replace the conventional roofing and facade materials.
  • Electricity is produced in a thin photovoltaic layer that covers the metal sheet. The series connection of modules is made under the roof sheeting between the battens.
  • Combining roof and solar panel into one product (2-in-1) saves on material and labour cost for manufacturing and installation.

About

New-builds or renovation projects. Solarstone building-integrated solar panels (BIPV) perform as regular roofing material while harnessing solar energy. Solarstone replaces traditional roof tiles, shake or shingle roofs with innovative solar modules. Solarstone panels do not require any expensive mounting systems. Modules are installed directly to wooden battens, PV cables are connected to the inverter and voilà! Locally produced and consumed energy is most viable and sustainable way to combat climate and energy challenges.

  • Solarstone® building integrated panels fit with any type of roofing material and you may not notice the difference as the panels are invisible to bare eye.
  • Solarstone modules perform as 2-in-1 roofing system as you will benefit from uninstalled tile material and roofing works.
  • We challenge traditional building concepts. We believe that small scale renewable installations play key role in the future of housing and energy transition.
  • Solarstone is a software-intense solar roof solutions developer.
  • Combining efficient software and IP-protected hardware we enable to build solar roofs and facades that reduce the need for building material by half.
  • In 2020, Solarstone launched the world’s first solution to turn standard PV into weatherproof roofing material, making BIPV accessible for new-builds and renovation projects while preserving aesthetics.
