The Silikaat group consists of 32 Estonian owned companies that operate under the same holding company. The oldest company in the group, AS Silikaat, was founded in 1910. There are very few companies in Estonia which, looking back to their early days, can say that they have survived through different regimes, two World Wars, the War of Independence and numerous generations. AS Silikaat is one of a kind for its scale and history. Together with the other 31 companies, the Silikaat Group is like a cross-section of society – its fields of business range from agricultural production to real-estate management. The group’s mission is to create opportunities for its companies so that they can develop in their area of business in the best possible way. The group aims to be bold by investing in bold projects that bring value to the country; caring by valuing the environment around us; and reliable by attaching high priority to honesty and always following the principle that promises must be fulfilled.
YES, IT IS A BEER YES, IT IS A SHIP Tanker. Yes, it’s a ship. Yes, it’s a beer. Tanker brewery is like a tanker ship, full of fresh beer on the way to beer lovers around the world. We are proud to be in the Estonian beer scene since the beginning of the craft beer revolution. In 2014, we established Tanker and our goal was to make the beer selection in Estonia more diverse and brew something special and tasty. Today, craftbeers brewed in Estonia are highly recognized and highly valued all over the world for their quality, exciting and bold flavours. At Tanker, we work hard to ensure that fresh and tasty Tanker beer reaches every corner of the world quickly and freshly. Therefore we were the first brewery in Estonia who bought a canningline and started canning own beers, thus ensuring that the beer remains fresh and reducing the resources used for beer transport . Beer friends in Estonia, our fans and friends all over the world are very important to us. Our product range includes many different beer styles. We know how a good and fresh beer should taste and and how much it should differ from boring eurolager – because we really madly love IPAs, lagers, stouts, porters, goses, berliner weisses and wild sour beers. We like to experiment and sometimes even go bit too wild, but we believe that our long line of beers has beers for every taste!

Our mission is to start and lead a new era of sparkling fruit wines. They did not have to become cheap blends of random wines, extra aromas and flavours, not to mention added colours. Our wines follow basic ethics of only using natural and unprocessed raw materials, skimping with sugar and staying away from concentrates and additives. Just fruits fermented. Too simple to be true.
So we do not use grapes, ok. We focus on making young and sparkling fruit, berry or even vegetable wines and do our best to bring the fruit forward while keeping the wine dry. Well balanced, slightly lighter than conventional sparkling wines, (too) easy to drink and last but not least – natural and beautiful inside out. We suggest you give them a try unless you are blown away and already buying our promise on the paper.
