About

e-Pavement develop and manufacture smart safety solutions for walking and bicycle roads. The products are smart road bricks that give light signals and may communicate with rest of the traffic infrastructure. The led’s, solar elements, electronics and communication unit are encapsulated into polymer.  The bricks are installed onto same level with road surface. The application is developed for Nordic climate conditions. By test results, the brick withstands the pressure at least 1000 kg/cm3. They are feeded either from electric grid or solar element, installed into e-brick.

Company founders are researchers and engineers from Tallinn University of Technology – material scientist, mechanical engineer, electronics, road engineer and Open Innovation expert. We started on the basis of university knowledge and license part of IP from the university.  During 4 years we have developed some unique solutions and the patenting process is on the road.

About

Fusebox, which started operations in 2014, is the largest electricity demand response management provider in the Baltics. Fusebox has developed a smart cloud-based demand response solution that allows both businesses and consumers to change their energy use by turning off machines or regulating their consumption in a way that reduces the net load on the power system and allows for high marginal prices. Fusebox not only allows energy consumers to save on electrical bills and reduce CO2 emissions in the system, but also pays the money back.

Fusebox is already operating in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Finland and heading up to German, Swedish and Norwegian markets. Main energy consumers that can be regulated remotely are mainly fleets of EV-chargers, microgrids (consumer, solar/wind producer, energy storage), large water reservoirs with pumping stations, heating-ventilation-cooling systems (shopping malls, office buildings), cold-storages and others.
