Estonian property-management software company Bidrento has won a 2026 DREA Award at the EXPO REAL property fair in Munich, its first award win in Germany.
Bidrento said technology companies from 25 countries applied to the competition. An international jury of 56 experts selected two finalists in each of six categories before the final on 5 October. Bidrento had been named a finalist in the Buy, Sell & Rent category.
Bidrento makes its case in Germany
The jury recognised a platform that brings property-management automation, financial processes, maintenance and tenant communication into one system. Bidrento presented the software as a way for operators to manage different property types and markets while reducing routine back-office work. The company serves professional property owners and operators.
Taavo Annus, Bidrento’s co-founder and CEO, called Germany a strategically important market. “For us, this win confirms that the solution we have been building for years around the needs of different European markets can compete in one of Europe’s most demanding real estate markets,” he said.
Germany’s real estate market is large and undergoing digitalisation, Annus said. The Munich award gives Bidrento a first German prize for a product developed for operators across European markets. The competition, established in 2019, recognises technology and companies working in real estate.
Tenant app cuts routine work
Bidrento’s tenant app is designed to speed up communication between managers and tenants and reduce manual service tasks. The company says the app is unique in the Baltics. An integrated AI assistant handles some routine work, leaving property managers more time for matters that need a person.
The award was presented at EXPO REAL, which attracted approximately 42,000 visitors from more than 70 countries in 2025. The jury included representatives of real estate, technology and investment organisations, among them RICS, JLL Spark and PwC Germany.
