As Sweden’s construction sector looks toward its next phase of growth, efficiency, renovation, and sustainable materials are moving to the forefront. At Nordbygg 2026, Estonian companies illustrate why the country has earned a reputation as a trusted partner in Nordic construction — bringing together industrial manufacturing expertise, Nordic design traditions, and practical innovation for modern building.

“As construction activity begins to pick up again in Sweden, developers are looking for reliable partners who can deliver efficiently and at scale. Estonian companies are well-positioned here, particularly in timber construction, prefabrication, and building components that support sustainable building,” Tom Holgersson, Export Adviser for Sweden at Enterprise Estonia, sees growing opportunities for cooperation.

Join Estonian construction companies for a Happy Hour networking event at the Estonian stand (Hall C03, Stand C51) at the Nordbygg 2026 fair in Stockholm on Wednesday, 22 April at 14.00.

Timber construction remains a cornerstone of Estonia’s building sector. Arcwood, one of the leading CLT and glulam manufacturers in the Baltics, produces engineered timber elements for residential, commercial, public, and industrial buildings. Complementing this, Puidukoda produces premium softwood cladding, planed timber, interior and garden timber products, as well as thermo timber solutions, using sustainably sourced Nordic timber.

Structural components and fastening systems are represented by Arras Construction Furniture, a manufacturer with more than 25 years of production experience. Estonia’s long experience in industrialised construction is reflected in Aru Grupp, which produces stairs, windows, doors, and prefabricated houses.

Estonia’s construction sector blends tradition and innovation for the Nordic market

Façade and glazing solutions form another part of the Estonian joint stand at Nordbygg. Ferroloq manufactures steel profile doors and façade systems for commercial and public buildings. For residential developments and renovation projects, Malmerk Klaasium offers frameless balcony glazing, terrace systems, and railing solutions designed for northern climates. Architectural glass processing is represented by PAL-Klaas, an Estonian glass processing company with more than 25 years of experience.

Interior materials are represented by Eumar Design, which produces bespoke solid-surface bathroom products such as washbasins, shower trays, and bathtubs. Its GelCeramic Lightweight technology reduces product weight by up to 50% compared to conventional alternatives.

Standwood contributes wood materials and components for saunas and spa environments, reflecting the Nordic tradition of wellness architecture. Completing the picture is ÖÖD Mirror House, which designs and builds mirrored modular cabins and saunas for hospitality and nature-based accommodation projects.

Together, the companies demonstrate how Estonia’s construction sector connects traditional materials with industrial innovation — offering Swedish developers and contractors reliable solutions for the next phase of Nordic building.

Visitors are invited to meet the Estonian delegation at the Trade Estonia stand at Nordbygg 2026 in Hall C03, Stand C51, and explore opportunities for new partnerships.
