Modera, an Estonian automotive sales software company, has signed its largest contract to date with a South Korean car manufacturer. Under the agreement, the company’s solution will be implemented by the manufacturer’s German importer and 150 dealerships nationwide.
“This is our largest contract to date in terms of both end users and the number of dealerships, and it marks our entry into Europe’s biggest automotive market,” said Modera’s CEO, Janek Prümmel.
“We began contract negotiations in June 2025. The German automotive market is large and can appear relatively inaccessible to newcomers from abroad. Most dealerships operate as multibrand businesses – if you manage to enter the market with one brand, it creates a strong foundation for cooperation with others. References are critically important there.”

He noted that adding 150 dealerships makes this the largest deal in the company’s history in terms of dealer network coverage.
Modera expands to Germany with its largest contract to date
Modera is a software company providing next-generation customer experience solutions for the automotive industry. For the past 16 years, Modera has offered a vast selection of digital sales tools to car retailers, distributors, and OEMs.

“We are implementing a relatively standard solution with some market‑specific nuances added. This confirms that Modera’s product is attractive to major international car manufacturers,” Prümmel added.
The implementation of the system will occur over the next six months. At the manufacturer’s request, its name will not be disclosed at this time, but it is expected to be announced in approximately six months.
Modera’s software suite powers more than 30 global brands
The company´s product range includes e-commerce, sales and CRM tools, a digital showroom, and solutions to support both traditional vehicle distribution as well as the agency sales model. Modera has more than 3000 business users in over 16 countries and currently works with more than 30 brands.

Through the Modera system, vehicles worth more than 8 billion euros have been sold across various countries. In Estonia, the company has achieved nearly a 60% market share. Among those using Modera’s solutions are importers and dealers of Toyota, Nissan, Volkswagen, Renault, BMW, Kia, Hyundai, Volvo, and Mercedes‑Benz.
