Estonian company Pactum, a leading provider of AI-powered negotiation solutions, won the prestigious 2025 Future Unicorn Award, an annual recognition by Digital Europe that highlights Europe’s most promising tech companies poised for unicorn status.

Pactum received the Future Unicorn Award on February 19, 2025, during Digital Europe´s Masters of Digital conference in Brussels where it was presented by European Commissioner for Startups, Research and Innovation, Ekaterina Zaharieva. “This award demonstrates the value of agentic AI, and Pactum, for procurement and supply chains. Your innovation is driving Europe forward. We need more future unicorns like you,” she said.

“We need to nurture these successful companies and help them stay in Europe. But for that, they need the right business conditions to scale up. Our 3-step gameplan: cut, simplify, incentivize offers concrete ideas on how to get there.”
Cecilia Bonefeld-Dahl, Director General of Digital Europe

“Being recognized among Europe’s most innovative scale-ups is a tremendous honor, this award underscores the impact of our market leading agentic AI and autonomous negotiations in revolutionizing procurement and commercial agreements at a global scale,” responded Kaspar Korjus, CEO and Co-Founder of Pactum.

The Future Unicorn Award showcases high-growth European tech companies with the potential to become the continent’s next major success stories. As Pactum AI continues its rapid growth, coming off the back of 2.5x growth in 2024, and with over 50 Global 2000 customers, this recognition reinforces its half decade of leadership in agentic AI solutions and its role in shaping the future of automated business negotiations in procurement.

“Today, only 14% of the world’s unicorns are from Europe. This is far from enough, especially at a time when Europe seeks to boost its economic and security resilience in an increasingly tense geopolitical context,” said Cecilia Bonefeld-Dahl, Director General of Digital Europe.

“Europe’s competitiveness lies in its capacity to champion and empower its innovators, and we have many of them. Our 2025 Future Unicorn Award winners are a testament to that and to Europe’s potential to reclaim its leadership on a global scale and win the tech race. The crowned companies stand out in AI and drones, respectively, and are already contributing positively to our tech ecosystem and defense capabilities. We need to nurture these successful companies and help them stay in Europe. But for that, they need the right business conditions to scale up. Our 3-step gameplan: cut, simplify, incentivize offers concrete ideas on how to get there,” added Cecilia Bonefeld-Dahl.
