Marine Technology Competence Centre (MARTE) is a research and development unit of the Tallinn University of Technology in Estonia.
MARTE offers product development services to industrial and technology companies to create innovative design solutions and devices. MARTE’s main research field is sustainable marine engineering, namely, vessel hydrodynamics – resistance, seakeeping, loads and maneuverability.
The Marine Technology Competence Centre Naval Architecture and Hydrodynamics research infrastructure in Kuressaare, Saaremaa is included on the Estonian Research Infrastructures Roadmap, the list of nationally important research infrastructures.
