The Estonian sustainable oral care brand Fresmy has taken an important step by starting exports to Sweden, Hungary, the Czech Republic and Greece. The company found its cooperation partners at the Cosmoprof Bologna beauty fair, where Fresmy has participated on the Estonian joint stand for the past two years.
Fresmy OÜ develops, produces and sells natural oral care products. The company’s goal is to offer environmentally friendly alternatives to traditional products by reducing the use of plastic and promoting sustainability. Fresmy focuses on clean and essential formulations, believing that a healthy life begins with a healthy mouth.
“Hungary, Sweden, the Czech Republic and Greece are new markets for us, where consumers are looking for innovative and natural solutions.”
Marko Kurg, Fresmy founder and CEO
“Cosmoprof fairs, where we received recognition in both years, provided an excellent opportunity to introduce our products outside Estonia and find partners who value environmentally friendly oral care solutions,” said Fresmy founder and CEO Marko Kurg. “Hungary, Sweden, the Czech Republic and Greece are new markets for us, where consumers are looking for innovative and natural solutions.” Fresmy offers its products abroad under its own brand as well as private label for wholesale partners.
Consistent work has brought quicker results for Fresmy
Fresmy’s first participation in Cosmoprof in 2024 stemmed from a clear necessity.
“We realised that in order to increase production volumes and grow faster, the Estonian market alone was too small for us. We wanted to find partners who share our values and who could help us bring our mission to wider consumer groups,” Kurg explained. Next spring, the company will participate in Cosmoprof for the third time together with the Estonian joint stand. “When you have been present at the same fair for several consecutive years, potential customers and partners see it as a sign of reliability, which speeds up the decision-making process.”
“In the second year, we managed to conclude an agreement with a Greek partner in just four months – this shows that consistent work also brings quicker results.”

Kurg noted that reaching the first contract took eight months, and with the next partner, communication lasted 1.5 years before the first order was placed. “It all depends on the specific situation. In the second year, we managed to conclude an agreement with a Greek partner in just four months – this shows that consistent work also brings quicker results.”
Kurg encourages companies to take part in trade fairs. “Participation in a fair is not a place to cut costs but an investment. The value of a fair lies in the contacts and in the long-term work that follows. But without taking the risk and showing up, you are always left wondering how things might have turned out. The risk is worth taking!”
The Enterprise Estonia (EIS), in cooperation with Organic Estonia, will once again take Estonian cosmetics companies to Cosmoprof in March 2026.
