Cybernetica signs partnership to enter the Philippine market

Estonian secure digital-government company Cybernetica has signed a cooperation agreement with InfiniVAN to enter the Philippine market.

The agreement was signed in Tallinn, with InfiniVAN set to represent Cybernetica in the Philippines, according to the official press-release.

Cybernetica takes its expertise into a new market

The Japanese-Filipino telecommunications and ICT solutions provider will bring Cybernetica’s technology, expertise and experience in e-government and digitalisation to Philippine institutions, writes Äritehnoloogia. InfiniVAN is expanding its role beyond connectivity by partnering with the Estonian company to deliver secure digital government solutions.

The signing was witnessed by Mariin Ratnik, Undersecretary of Estonia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Cybernetica’s Head of Sales and Business Development, Ants Anupõld, also attended the event, alongside representatives of InfiniVAN.

Building a local route for digital-government solutions

Cybernetica works in secure data exchange, digital identity, I-voting, information security and Privacy by Design. Its technologies are used in 40 countries, and the company is a strategic technology partner of the Estonian government.

Cybernetica CEO Oliver Väärtnõu said the partnership would support the company’s expansion in Asia. “I am pleased that we have found a reliable partner through whom we can offer our technical expertise, research-backed capabilities and trusted services in the Philippines,” Väärtnõu said.

Supporting the Philippines’ digital transformation

InfiniVAN Executive Adviser Alex Aquino said the partnership would help bring Estonia’s established digital-government capabilities to the Philippines.

“The Philippines is accelerating its digital transformation, and government institutions need solutions that are not only innovative, but also secure, reliable, and scalable. Through our partnership with Cybernetica, InfiniVAN is bringing proven digital government expertise and technologies from Estonia to the Philippines. We see this collaboration as an opportunity to help strengthen the country’s digital infrastructure and support government institutions in delivering more efficient and accessible public services to Filipinos,” Aquino said.
