After delivering nearly 50 smart vehicles globally, Estonia-based Auve Tech has enhanced its flagship autonomous shuttle. The new MiCa 2.0 features a next-generation AI-powered software stack, offers a more comfortable ride, and demonstrates better performance in urban settings.
“We’ve taken the use of AI in autonomous driving to a whole new level,” said Kaarel Variksaar, Member of the Management Board at Auve Tech. “The vehicle perceives its surroundings with exceptional precision, distinguishing objects through LiDAR and camera systems supported by a sophisticated AI brain,” added he.

MiCa shuttles operate across four continents
Auve Tech is a 100% Estonian-owned company developing Level 4 autonomous vehicles to reduce dependence on private cars. Their MiCa is an 8-seater autonomous vehicle developed and manufactured in Estonia.
The company´s street-legal driverless shuttles operate daily in both open and semi-closed environments across four continents. MiCa operates in Estonia, Finland, Poland, Germany, the United States, and the Middle East. A few dozen MiCa vehicles manufactured in Estonia operate also in urban traffic all over Japan. They are primarily found in small cities, where they have become a regular part of everyday traffic. The Japanese government plans to introduce autonomous vehicles in 40 cities by the end of this year.
