Kenya has established new partnerships with Estonia to boost renewable energy and cleantech investment, strengthening the country’s position as a regional hub for climate innovation, according to reports from KTN News and Citizen TV.

Estonia recently organized a Cleantech breakfast event in Kenya, bringing together key players from the Kenyan clean technology sector to discuss about collaboration. The gathering featured engaging presentations from Estonia’s Ambassador to Kenya, Daniel Erik Schaer, Estonia Cleantech Association CEO Kädi Ristkok, Export Adviser to Kenya at Enterprise Estonia and ESTDEV’s Africa Regional Advisor Olga Bogdanova, leading to lively discussions on joint innovation and sustainable growth.
In the interviews, Estonia’s Ambassador to Kenya, Daniel Erik Schaer, highlighted the collaboration builds on the country’s leadership in climate action and digital innovation. The partnership aims to create green jobs, advance sustainability, and deepen ties between Europe and Africa in the global green transition.
