Korea–Estonia cleantech ties gain speed with new investments

“It has been a great honor and privilege to work closely together with MTN, Korea’s Äripäev, as we call it, and on a very significant scale. Estonia was the first country from Europe as a partner for MTN  and a lot has happened since MTN’s Green Innovation Estonia Conference in April this year,” said Eva-Kristiina Ponomarjov, Director General of Trade Estonia at Enterprise Estonia.

“Korea-Estonia cleantech collaboration is gaining momentum, from Elcogen’s new factory opening just recently via HD Hyundai’s strategic investment. We are also proud of Eesti Energia, LG Energy Solution and Diotech’s collaboration in delivering the the largest battery energy storage project in the Baltics. This is just the beginning. In April 2026, another high level clean tech trade mission is planned for Korea,” added Ponomarjov.
